The best interface is the one you stop noticing. Chrome that recedes, controls that appear only when a hand reaches for them, and a single obvious path to every task — less to look at, less to learn.
Bookmarks reveal themselves on hover. Update banners never interrupt. The address bar shows where you are, not a string you have to parse. Novelty is expressed in small moments of color and motion — restraint everywhere else.
And when you want a hand, it's already there: an assistant that has read every open tab, ready to summarize, compare, or answer — without a single copy-and-paste.
